I have tutored in the subjects of math and literature from grades K-8th. I want to be a tutor because I know from personal experience that it can be very beneficial to have a fresh point of view from someone other than the teacher or parent/guardian(s). I am continuing my education to become a teacher, and I feel that tutoring is right up my alley. Not only will this benefit the student, but also myself, giving me more experience and knowledge of how to teach a subject in way the student will understand.
